When I setup a new headland it automatically sets it up as half the implements width. This is fine when spreading fert etc. It puts me 18m from boundary @36m.

Its annoying though when drilling as always 2m out on 4m drill. Does anyone know how to cancel half width default?

I found similar when having a play setting up boundary’s . But I’m a novice just now . There’s a Young scotish chap on YouTube setting up boundary’s and headland lines that might help .

No I don’t but the guy sounds pretty dour ?
That you then ?
Yeah that sounds a bit like me!

I've only got 4 video's on YouTube. I kept forgetting how to record boundaries so filmed it so I remembered next time.

One thing I learned was everytime you go in with a new implement you create a new field from boundary with that implement width. I wasn't doing this when going in with drill and that wasn't helping. I created the boundarys with tractor so only 3m wide, drill 4m.

When fert spreading I've been creating a new field with fert spreader width and been working fine.

Do any of you use the CNH 'AFS View' desk top software for sorting out your AB lines and field boundaries?

There's a setting on a Trimble, which the nh is based on. Can choose full or half width.

I don't understand what's wrong with what it's doing with your 4m drill - are you recording the boundary after doing a half width or something?

I don’t know the correct way to do it but what I have been doing is recording an outer boundary which I rename field boundary. Then I record another boundary at half the drill width which I rename drilling boundary. Both are saved in the memory. I then use drilling boundary for drilling and field boundary for everything else.
