NH T5 110 Add Blue.

I have a T5 with add blue which i am very happy with,The only problem is the large amount of steam from the exhaust in the mornings after start up .If I delete the add blue and remap will it run free of steam or what can I do for it run clear

It’s just until it warms up, there’s probably a frost symbol on the dash at same time, just let it run for a bit before using it

Yes ok after warm up ,but there must be some way of getting it to run clear

Our non ad blue T5.105 done it and now my ad blue T6.145 does it, nothing to worry about

My arion 450 with Fpt does it !
First time it did it wondered what was on but stops when warm.

Every vehicle I know of with ad blue does it,. Case tractors, jaguar with a Merc engine, it's just warming up.

Mostly because of the much larger exhaust internal volume (DPF, catalysts etc) that engines are now fitted with so consequentially much more volume to heat up and for condensation to form during so. The ad blue doesn't function until a certain exhaust temp so disabling it will make ZERO difference to steam output but there may be alittle adblu left in the system from the previous shut down...

You are making a non-problem.

Steam is perfectly normal with all SCR engines, it's just the engine warming up, I imagine if you delete ad blue it will still do it.

Tractor never use Adblue when engine is cold. Its starts using when reach normal engine temperature ish 80C. I will think that you have more steam in cold weather. How many steam did you have in summer time?? As weather is cold, you have condensation in exhaust system, so you should have steam first in the morning, but no steam after engine is worm and re-start after while. It can not be any adblue left in system as it just sray jusst small amout on exhaust gas and its reacts. Plus after engine off adblue pump sucks back all adblue from pipes back to tank. You should hear ticking noise after engine is off

I still can not under stand a 2018 tractor steaming like a train,and my old 7740 runs as clear a spring. Says something for modern engineering.
