Hi folks,
I have a TS 115 that I want to turbo.
I used to drive one of these back in the day when I was young free and single for the local contractor.
The one I drove had a really loud turbo flute when lifting off the throttle.
Does anyone know what turbo would have been installed on it as I want mine to do the same.
Nostalgia is a wonderful thing lol.

Also how hard its opened up.or how much fuel you give it
In them good old days we put all makes off turbos on everything
Was it not the bigger size pipe when you knocked off throttle it some how made a vacum in exhaust that made the noise

Ahh back in the day when a 115ho tractor was capable o pullin large trailers tankers mowin grass and whatever machine you wanted to pull. Compare this to a current 115hp offerin from nh "t5.115"? Wouldnt be half the tractor just a wee useless puddle jumper. Where did it all go wrong lol

Is it a really smart low houred one? They were cr@p but I would take it off you for a sensible price just so you can get something more modern.

Thanks for the replies folks,
So were most of the turbo conversions straight piped then?
I happened to get talking to the dealer who supplied the TS to the contractor I worked for last night, and he thought it was a TB turbo as well.
TB turbos are no more by the looks of things though...
Does anyone know what model of scan turbo is required by any chance?
Thanks

Its a 99 model with 8000 hours, was a fencing contractors tractor so spent 99% of its time with a post driver on.
Took me a long time to find a decent one.
Its just a toy for me really...
Don't think it would win any beauty contest but its the tightest one i could find. Paintwork is original too..
But naaa I wont be selling this one. To many good memories behind the wheel of one of these....

Complete kit is around £1500 I think, supposed to be made by scan turbo

Nice ones are rare. Would like a tidy 115 turbo or 8340.

what are they like without a turbo, just bought one here with a loader to replace a 7740 and loader, first tank of fuel not through it yet. yes have noticed it is a lot bigger when in tight places, what does it pull like or is it dead enough, this is standard none turbo

I fitted a loader on mine too. They are pretty nimble for 6 cylinder but yea you would be doing well to beat a 77 round the yard..
Mines flat enough too.. it see's the hill before I do.. I can remember the turbo version would have pulled until it stalled like the 77 does..

if it is worse than the 7740 for pulling I would be disappointed, now tempted to put it on the tanker tomorrow to find out.

thanks for the review of it, doubt it will get turboed here as mostly a loader tractor
