Imperial College are doing a research project for NHS where home test kits are being sent to people at random. The idea is if you have NO symptoms and have NOT had a recent test, you send a test in. That way they can get some sort of indication how much asymptomatic infection is out there. Prince Pooper was selected and sent one in today, a friend of ours did one about 2 weeks ago.

Another Bill Gates foundation lot. Same as Gavi, WHO blah blah. I'll give them a sample if they want. Maybe not what they asked for. This is a one way street and people are not waking up.

just received a letter from the office for national statics asking us to take part in random testing, they will come to us to take test, then once a week for a month and then once a month for a year so 16 tests in total.

They will get told where to stick it if I get 1.
Been waiting on a ct scan now for 3 months to check a suspect lump.
Should be treating waiting lists not pissing about making more work.

Agreed. 'The squeaky wheel gets the most oil' seems to be the new philosophy for GPs these days. Hopefully you can hassle and nag your doctor enough to get seen soon, or maybe a trip to A&E is in order because as far as you're concerned it could be becoming an emergency?

So, who has downloaded this app? I am hearing that it will only accept a positive result from a Lighthouse lab not a NHS, PHE or ONS result. Also, if you use the QR code check-in eg at a restaurant, it only checks you in and will only check you out at midnight. Ruddy useless by the sound of it, as usual.
