Whoever is right or wrong doesn’t really matter, it’s the fact that we’re going into lockdown next Friday! Why wait a week? If it’s necessary, surely it starts today? And then none of them will defend it on air!

I thought we had been in lockdown since before Halloween? Obviously closing hairdressers and restaurants has done such a great job that we need another 2 weeks of it:banghead:

You've always got it in for the planters. Stop being so racist. It was the Shinners that went back on their word last week after their leader went and blabbed all over Noel Thompson's programme on Sunday evening.

Now, now. Set SF duplicity aside. That’s their innate nature. But the DUP with Alliance eating their lunch, and UUP Robin Swann in charge of health, were / are pretty dumb in my book, to ignore the mega serious numbers and the clear scientific advice. Arlene shackled by the old dinosaurs AGAIN! Have DUP not got some remote out farm to put these clowns out to grass?
Hopefully, the unionist voting base will cull the DUP in favour of UUP / Alliance. If I personally had a vote in NI, I would use it to curb SF / DUP. There might then be a chance to have a functioning Executive.

When’s your next election ashy? I’ll look forward to casting your vote for you. I don’t think there’s a government on these islands covering themselves in glory right now, but to govern through a time like this in a mandatory coalition makes it even harder. Two sides always pulling in slightly different directions, with the others also influencing, means there is no coherent message, and continual point scoring and sniping making it worse.

Coronavirus: Edwin Poots opposes Covid-19 restrictions in email sent to MLAs

Ah yes! Mr. Poots. Mister Poots.... Even by average DUP standards, this guy is a specimen of genuine “menace”!
Anti science, anti catholic, anti basic human decency. In his time in politics he has deliberately cut off water, electricity and general social services to catholic districts in his constituency. He is also an avowed “ flat earther” with whacko beliefs that the earth is only 4000 years old!
But fudge me, he gets thousands and thousands to vote for him, come election time....
What does that tell you?

I must be a whacko too then as I believe the earth was created by God probably around 6000 years ago (I won't fall out with anyone over the exact date) I suppose I'm not entitled to that view because it's different from yours.
I've never heard Edwin talk about the earth being flat so once again I will bow to your superior knowledge and assume you have.
