Nick Berni has joined Cargill Animal Nutrition and Health as ruminant category specialist for additives. A University of Nottingham graduate, Nick has spent 20 years in the livestock nutrition industry, working as a nutritionist, and in technical and commercial roles in the forage, additive and feed manufacturing sectors.

Nick has joined at an important milestone in Cargill’s additive market development, as the company takes over exclusive distribution of the Diamond V range in the UK and Ireland. This follows the acquisition of Diamond V by Cargill Animal Nutrition in January 2018.

“Diamond V fermentation products complement the range of additives and feed products offered to the livestock sector by Cargill,” says Mr Berni. “I am especially keen to demonstrate the trial work alongside evidence-based research work to customers that supports the Cargill and Diamond V ranges,” he adds. “This showcases the success of the products in commercial situations.”

Mr Berni is based in the UK and will be supporting Cargill’s ruminant additive business in the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe. He will be on the Cargill stand at Dairy-Tech, Stoneleigh, Warwickshire on February 5, promoting the Diamond V ruminant range.
