Nissen Hut

Hi all,

We have a Nissen Hut that was used as an old grain store many years ago that we are looking to take down. It is approximately 10m wide and 48m long with a height at the top of the arch of around 7-8 meters. It is clad in arched sheets, odd ones of which need replacement and has 23 stanchions along the structure.

We would not be looking for payment for this but anyone interested in it would be doing the deconstruction and taking away. Could potentially make someone a large area of undercover storage!

Please feel free to contact me via message or below if interested and you're welcome to come and have a look.

Many thanks,

Andrew.

That was the plan but thought it'd be worth seeing if anyone wanted it rather than scrapping it and then finding someone who wanted something of the sort. We did have a visit a few years ago from someone in Norfolk who was looking for one but have now lost his bloody number typically. Thanks for the reply though.

The skip pic was to say that it's illegal to reuse bonded asbestos sheets. It could be about £5k to get rid of that lot. (n)
The steel should be worth more than this time last year though. (y)
