Nitrogen Maximums on Milling wheat in an NVZ

Hi,
Can someone tell me what the maximum amount of N is allowed on milling wheat in an NVZ? We have pushed our wheats this year and have quality but not yield because of lack of sunshine. Other years we have proceeded cautiously and been very mindful of NVZs and not acheived high yield or full spec milling quality. WE now have an Environment Agency inspection looming and I am not sure what explanation I can give.

A FACTS qualified agronomist can recommend higher rates of Nitrogen so just show then the rec sheet. Basically you have achieved your aim so no problem at all.

Depends a lot on your historical yields. If youre getting 13% protein and 12t/ha, then wapping 360kg N is probably not unreasonable.
How far you can deviate from RB209 depends on your ability to justify it.
