Johnes results were late here, but biggest problem been bvd tissue test results, taken several phone calls to tag test results from end of Sept. finally got all of the results last week, they did tell me over the phone, couple of weeks since, one calf was positive, but we have had the vet blood test that calf and that’s come back as neg on blood, vet says blood test over rules tissue test?‍♂️

Been waiting 5 weeks here, have you got yours yet?

We waited over 3 weeks and then only half the results appeared, no one bothered to tell us that half the samples had been rejected. Offered no solution so I got then to do whole herd test FOC at next recording, got results a week later. I would keep pestering them as your results may never appear. Oddly and quite worryingly the results were completely different to the ones i did manage to get the month before!! We also served cows to sexed which we wouldnt have if we had had the results when expected. Very poor service at the moment.

Same here, can be 170 one day then 30. Ive asked for a bacto breakdown to see whats going on
So frustrating at the moment we have changed pipes got in the tank washed pulsation line through and it’s still coming back at 70-100. I don’t know what else to do. Waiting for bacto breakdown results now.

we’ve forked our for a new bedding machine out of desperation. We’ve literally tried everything from full pre cleaning to nothing and it won’t touch it. At best we’re running at 100 worst day’s are closer to 200. Bacto breakdown said everything high. Tried manual and auto samples all the same. Had the Chem guy out he can’t find anything. I’m meeting with the milk buyer Friday for a chat again as i now really don’t know where to turn

Have you checked whether the tank wash pump is circulating. Ours had failed but the wash still completed.

Same problem here. Was mega, but took the tap off the bottom of the tank and there was some quite decent cottage cheese in it. Worth a look, it's not a problem I had ever had before, I only looked because I read someone on here had a similar issue.

Bacto still up and down a bit too much for me though. I am still getting results sporadically, with a few good days, with them coming back 48hrs later, and then nothing so far since early last week!

A roof on the shed might help

We’ve been watching the tank wash like a hawk and no problems there.
Hand scrub and disinfect bulk tank, see if that makes a difference.
Been inside and it’s spotless swabbed it just incase and put a sh!t load of cjem
In no change.

Pulled everything apart and can’t find a dam thing.
The tank? It's always the tank with us. Good luck.
Always has been with us too. Anything over 100 tank but not this time it would seem.

True but it’s out of my control for the moment. Realistically it won’t be on until next spring now

If you have auto wash on your plant are the dosing pumps delivering chemical, pipes not flattened?

Yes auto wash. Funnily enough pipes were out for a few days as we were buggering about and forgot to put them back in. Bacto hardly move:confused:

we’ve about 3 of us that milk with what seems like no difference and I’ve tried everything from pre spray pre foam post dip no routine etc but that might be worth a go to get someone totally new in and see what happens. Might persuade the wife to milk for two milkings and see

Do you have cluster flushes? We've had crud in the pipes to the flushers from the control boxes.
That’s interesting. Yes we do where abouts did you find the build up?
Do you have a air purge? Compressor been drained recently and have you checked the valve and airlines?
We do have an air purge yes and that was a consideration. Compressor has an auto drain on it it not checked that valve which could be a good shout. I could try not blowing it through for a day and see what happens
