Put squeeze throughs at the entrance too. Keep the fat bast Ards out until they REALLY need some food.
Caught a bit of some programme about food banks struggling, almost all saying they couldnt get any food were obese, they looked like a month without food would do them the world of good long term, the bloke running it was so unfit he was sweating heavily just standing up

Was it ever clearly communicated that any lockdown does not preclude shopping for food and other essentials? No.
So it’s hardly surprising that people start buying more than they need.
the way I see it is governments have been about a month late with just about every measure they have taken and communication continues to run behind not in front of the virus.
I’d like to think the best but most measures have been too late so we see public making their own way through it.
I did not buy extra bog roll . Now my supplies are very low. None in market Rasen or bread or flour all IMO because nobody was explicitly told that a lockdown won’t include shopping for essentials.
Poor communication.

I had a stache of veg in the freezer for Brexit which needed eating. Being disorganised this is done by eating through the freezer and not restocking. Sadly I was getting to the bottom of the Brexit stache and now can't replenish.
14 days in quarantine is not going to be tasty nor healthy if fresh / frozen veg can't be got. Just have to avoid the virus and do some early morning shopping and look like a numpty.
