which is most unlike me.... I’m normally fully prepared for any eventuallity

I might be tempted to sell grain before Xmas and/or sell a bit forward just in case
Otherwise I don’t think anyone really knows what the deal/no deal will be
Or what the rules will be
So I think in this case just waiting and carrying on as normal is the right course of action

Treated all wheat with K-Obiol for long term storage.
The markets are behaving really strangely at the moment, with Nov '20 at £170 and May '21 at only £172 instead of the traditional pound a month carry, almost as if they're trying to buy wheat on the cheap before Brexit spooks the market into uncharted territory at the end of the year.
Might just secure T0/T1/T2 ag chems on farm, but FFS, I've lost count of how many times we've bought forward because of Brexit and Covid etc. Wondering what 'Black Swan' events 2021 will throw at us; more floods, droughts and a Martian attack.

There could

could be winners and losers or could be supermarkets maintaining control. I have less than 10% of the cattle that were here a month ago. Gamble time

Winners and losers now so just carry on as normal and see what happens, im not the least bit worried.

Personal/House and Farm preparation for No Deal!! What is everyone doing?
It will be hardest for the hogg feeders buying now to sell in 2021 to decide. It can be nothing but a sheer gamble at the moment. 3000 odd hoggs at £65-£70 is about £200,000 outlay plus feeding,to get 3000 x £100-£140 back in Feb/March/April. If its a balls up,might be lucky to get 3000 x £65 back.
