Having just returned from the UK I can only see failure with or without a deal, what had gone wrong, it is depressing to see the general decline in the country.
There are two things preventing deals being done.
1. An understandable EU desire to hold the UK back from leaving.
2. The necessity to make leaving painful, so as to discourage any further dissent in the EU.
Leaving removes one of these.
I'm not a brexiteer by the way, and would probably very reluctantly vote remain if it were run again.
Well I reckon we would be better with a deal as long as it's not May's deal but those that are trying to sabotage Brexit have probably convinced the EU not to talk to us and will be responsible if we end up with no deal.
I think the Germans have bitten off too much (again), and there “financial engineering” of the last ten years is going to have to be sorted at some point. The Panzers, I mean lexions, are going to be chased back from the steppes soon.
