nearly may and yet to use a fungicide, crops spotless clean

cold, dry - could this be the first year we don’t use this group of chemicals at all ?

rain could change things yet but it will need to be significant now to rebalance smd’s

anyone else not applied a fungicide to wheat or barley yet ?

thinking we might as well apply for organic conversion at this rate !

No fungicide on wheat yet and a far bit has only had half rate ally and mcpa. One field hasn't had any pesticides at all yet as there's no weeds or disease but I fear there will be a flush if we do get rain.
I haven't even ordered any T1 Chems yet, my wheat isn't there yet so I'll decide what to do and order the day before I do it. At the moment it could well be nothing!!!!

Respect man.

Am really struggling with it!

I've got a recommendation for last week that I've held back on because I don't want too long a gap till flag leaf. Like you I wonder what's the point but crops are looking great atm so I don't want to lose potential.

I did do a T0 quite a while ago in a tank mix because it's cheap though so can't quality for your big prize.

At the rate mine are *not* growing, there's plenty of thinking time left. In the olden days, my agronomist would be roosting now on a pile of Boogie xpro, waiting to start flapping and clucking about "rain splash events" until he'd shipped enough out to pay for the winter holiday.
