They used to have a cool programme for the yoof at 10pm on Sunday evening. But they still had the ads. Used to cheer me up after dropping the kids at school.

Call cold seal windows on Sheffield 55 22 88.

Perhaps they will finally make my wish come true.
Well it was better than Radio Lincolnshire.
Our next caller is Mable from Mablethorpe...

I love radio lincolnshire! I pray that one day when the go "Lincoln. Boston. Horncastle. Alford. Caister." That someone will cheekily add "are all shitholes". Or they will say a small town and ill have to ask Mrs teslacoils where on earth that is. Also, I play tiny toy soldiers with one of the presenters.

The CIA wouldn’t have needed to waterboard anyone if they’d known about Radio Lincolnshire. Two hours in a darkened room with Radio Lincoln on any terrorist would have confessed to anything. No one needs to know about Delia from the Ermine and her chicken

I listen mostly to 5 live with Dearne FM & Lincs FM for music both were great stations with local sounding presenters, local adds & local news.

Now I guess it will be the top 500 from the 70's, 80's & 90's played centrally with the localish presenters pre programmed to speak for so many seconds. I'll keep listening for two more weeks, by which time most presenters will have gone, then I'm off to Penistone FM my local community radio station. Will listen to Radio Lincolnshire too.
https://www.penistonefm.co.uk/listen-live/ Volunteer on Saturday afternoons is better than any DJ, I've ever heard. Old washer woman of a bloke who just keep chatting on playing great music. A dad of one of my school friends, Mr Hallas, who was the local barber for 50 years tells his long stories which are hilarious.

No one size fits for me, this is the radio equivelent of shutting down 5 high streets & building an Amazon fullfillment cenntre.

I did enjoy Sean Sparling & the British sugar lifting campaingn results.
