Always good to see the police getting real criminals off the streets, what a bloody joke it boils my p1$$. This is exactly the reason people don't trust the police.

But if you're going to drive in front of a Bobby with no number plate then expect to get pulled. Believe it or not even bobbies catching paedophiles/rapists/"higher class of criminal" still have a pair of eyes in their head.

Some real criminals avoid putting number plates on their cars. Shocker.

But when they pull you and realise your not the kingpin gangster they first feared they can let you go with a warning. Public police relations are strengthened and the public report more crime. Law abiding people only come into contact with the police when they are being pestered for tiny motoring offences and it leaves a sour taste in peoples mouth.

True to a certain degree, but be honest, you would go out again and not bother putting a relevant number plate on your trailer or the like as you would think "Stuff it, they'll only just give me a warning if they see me again so I won't bother". Where is the line drawn?

Maybe some law abiding people get annoyed when they see other vehicles aren't meeting requirements they themselves are meeting.

The people who aways left it days late to get a tax disc for their car for example leaves a sour taste in the mouths of people who bother their hole to do it on time.
