No rain coming now

Models have been suggesting rain in east Anglia for Sunday. Gradually fizzling out and don't expect more than couple of spots now.
Desert conditions again.

There's a cloddy spring wheat headland by the main road that hasn't germinated, was hoping weekend rain would sort it. Might get the slurry tanker out and put a few loads of water on it next week then, it's really annoying me!

If we are lucky enough to get rain up here it generally comes with 25+mph winds!
Have had 4 inches this year after barely 21" last year. Really are in dessert conditions esp. When wind does blow again and again.
Needing rain desperately if we are to have any sort of harvest.

I'll sell you some mud, if you are interested! Drying here to the point where the fields do not wobble when you look at them, but still too wet to get any machinery on....

About 60cm since New Year. That's about two foot for us imperials!

if I don't work this bank holiday it'll p*** it down all next week. If I do work this weekend it'll stay dry and divorce will be on the cards.

I need to spread muck and get the tates in before the rain hits, but others have different priorities.

Fingers crossed ......

Just had a look on rain today, looks like it's skipped through without getting us, but there might just be some brewing up now which might get here later.
