We've had 20mm in the last week 7mm last Friday.3mm on tuesday and 10mm today.5miles up the road at watton they've had very little.

Nothing at all in Essex to make the ground wet.

Very localised. I was topping some land about half a mile away this evening and only had a few spots on the windscreen. Got back home to find the yard was washed clean from a heavy storm.

Had nothing yet but praying for some this afternoon. Same situation for last couple of months with rain forecast but keep missing it at home. Flew into Stansted on Wednesday and crops are looking terrible from the air. All lighter parts of fields burning off. At home all our light land patches has no leaf left at all but heavier ground hanging on just, but desperate for water.

Just N of BSE we got 8mm today and 4mm yesterday evening. Nr Stowmarket got 10 mm yesterday evening and 5mm today.

You must have had some now, we are only 5 miles from Fingringhoe and we have had 26mm today.
