Can you buy a disk opener, seeding boot and closing wheel as one from anywhere in the UK. I see weaving let you buy a conventional till disk opener or a sabre tine but that is all i can find. I want to build something like this below.

If your in light dry soil that would be ok but once that unit gets into stiffer soils the closing wheel won’t close the slot making a highway fir slugs and seed drying out. Jd 750 row units are pretty versatile in most soil types and are well tried In all corners of the world.

there are also a large number of aftermarket JD “copies” on the market as well

I have built an 8 metre bar in the past, with Brazilian made copies, at a significant discount to buying a whole machine from JD

Row unit are available here too but very few are willing to cough up the money and build a unit of their own. Partly resale value and partly with everything being wider it’s not a small amount to risk if it doesnt work. Lots of moderfications done thou usually with tried and trusted parts and concepts

I'd like a novag/cross slot style if you come across anything like it . They use a hydraulic pressure system but if there are similar styles out there with springs rather than the rams , they would surely be cheaper .
