Just refreshed my memory of the Liebherr and the mobile crane.

I’m just waiting to see what Father Christmas brings this year...

Have you done the bucket wheel excavator or articulated truck to compete the quarrying setup...?
No not built any more, other than a few small ones with the little fella. Will have to wait and see what Santa can fit in his big red sack 🤔

One letter makes a massive difference to the product.
I strongly suspected it would have the lugs. I've never had an issue using remote jump/charge lugs myself. Many tractors, handlers and harvesters also have these of course.

I never noticed but all my milwaukee batteries have ion written on them so thanks for correcting me gives me alot more confidence in these Noco things! Could have done with one today imo! Manitou parked in field gate way with almost flat battery and knackered starter motor. Sorted starter and battery leads etc but needed a jump to get it going, had to track in there mini digger to jump it.🙄

Significant amounts of batteries these days are lithium-ion. All laptops would be and have been for ages. As you note power tools too. Even toothbrushes, shavers, Dysons etc. Pretty much everything moved on from Ni-Cd/Ni-Mh 20+ years ago - lithium ion charge much faster and keep their charge when stored whereas Ni-Cd discharge quickly.

No problem with ion. I was under the impression the Noco was using a poly which isnt a safe battery to use in a booster as highly likely to set it self on fire!

Ah ok. I was under that impression but your earlier post seemed to link the MIlwaukee batteries having "ion" on them with having confidence in the NOCO.

Spec sheet clearly states Lithium-Ion so no worries on the Li-Poly front now. (y) https://no.co/media/nocodownloads/format/g/b/gb150_sell_sheet_5.13.2020.pdf

How much cranking/churning over of an engine will these GB150 cope with? say for example if your having a bit of bother bleeding fuel etc?
Went to a TX66 before harvest to fit the injection pump after re-con, both batteries stone flat, not a dash light to be seen. Put it on for a laugh thinking this’ll never do this.. bled up and started no problem 😮 it hasn’t refused to start anything I’ve been to so far. Starts my van at least once a week (really should change the battery or stop leaving the lights on in the back 🙄)

Almost all mobile phones with batteries that are built-in, laptops and so on have lithium polymer batteries. So do some electric cars which use specific LG Chem cells rather than 2170 metal cased Li-Ion cells. Things like mobile phones and older laptops, depending on brand use smaller 18650 cells which are slightly bigger than AA batteries. These are even used to build some car batteries. Hundreds of little 3.6V cells linked together to create a great big battery pack. The Nissan Leaf's for instance and early Tesla's.

Do these pics answer any questions?

Sadly it's now an expensive torch. Suspect something might have got damp here.

Toying with inserting a switch to manually activate the relays, but not sure if my bravery/house insurance is good enough.

They often seem to be on offer?

How good is this offer compared to other past ones?

I'm not over fussed but if it's as good as your all making out it might just be useful now and again.
