Is the lobe pump a better pump than vane
Is it quieter and cheaper running costs
I’ve used lobe milk pump but not vacumn
Yes lobe pumps are better but more expensive than vane pumps but use no oil just change the gearbox oil once a year
But fit protection to the pump on vac line (ie non return trap) to stop debri getting in
We also sell silent vario pumps much quieter but still vane pump but direct drive

£3,300 from local crew although had to squeeze them a bit. £2,300 back from farm equipment fund grant so not too bad. Must be significantly reducing our Elec bill and pump wear.
Elec bill £125 cheaper per month on old tariff (based on May consumption). Will be £3-400 per month saving on new tariff.
