Any north easters - Aberdeenshire specifically, got any rainfall data for this year since New Year?

Can't remember when we last had any significant rain. We escaped all the heavy rain the rest of the country got through January to March.

Bloody dry.

2.3mm so far this month. 23mm March. 30 year average 80mm.

February above average, January well below. Sorry I don't have exact figures for these months.

1 mm in April to date here in North Angus. Would not have travelled on a field with anything significant a month ago, but now you all know yourselves.
Speaking to one of the Water board guys today and the reservoir that feeds Dundee has received 2.3 mm for the month. Still patches of snow feeding that reservoir at moment.
Hills are tinder box dry at moment.

Which side of Elgin are you?

My friends farm near garmouth. They've really light ground.

On the news its looked like Morayshire coast been catching it but obviously not. Black here again this afternoon but doesn't want to rain. Ive just finished spraying so it can wait a few hours.

Nw a few miles.
Watched most of the rain either side of the farm. Normal for us to be in a rain shadow the last few years (except in harvest)
Light ground through but heavy stuff needing an absolute soaking to germinate.
