Is there much demand for slurry storage from the overstocked dairymen or AD plants at the moment?
Have at least 150k gallons of storage and we could make use of the slurry?

Ive heard similar drums and they were on about the larger, over 500kw plants and something about 4ROCS. Fairly vague
Over 500kw only get 1roc, approx 4.5p. Under 500kw 4 rocs, approx 18p. Split the gennys up and supply the second off site and you qualify for 4 rocs on both sites. That's my reading of the trouble with some facilities

The problem with this "expose/scandal/outrage" journalism is that 99% of the people using said scheme honestly, get tarred with the same brush due to a small minority. The genuine men and women that went into the rhi scheme have been shafted now the tariff has been cut. Id bet many of them now regret it. A perfect example of how stormont works..

The problem with rhi,is if the government can cancel this scheme with people well exposed to the banks, they can cancel any scheme. Beware of a business run on subs. Latest I heard on rhi is the scheme is to be completely closed. I think they should at least have a boiler buy back scheme.

That's me up the creek then!!!

A whole industry has been set up in NI on the back of rhi and its benefits. A cousin of mine runs a tree surgeon business and use to have 100s of tonnes of woodchip lying round the yard that he couldn't get rid of. He put in 2 boilers and can't get enough of it now, bought a machine that will chip anything up to 12' diameter and has a list of customers wanting loads of dried chip to burn in boilers.

That's very true. Always a few ruin it for the many. The ones milking rhi have ruined it. Storming also for leaving a loophole like that. You don't need to be smart to be in politics

Holy smokes. 12 foot diameter. Wouldn't like to be standing in the same townland when that yin throws a blade. :D
