Well, next door had seven down last test. I've got three letters in the last week for new neighbouring breakdowns. None of those four breakdowns were in the vicinity of where my two culls grazed the summer. Two of them will be wildlife, two of them bought in TB.

The arrival of letters on breakdowns is a weekly/fortnightly affair during the winter. I've operated an entirely closed herd for about ten years.

Heard of a farmer near Dungannon who had a dairy farm rented. TB test last week. 93 cows positive. Bit of a bugger not being able to sell as the farm is now sold and he has to be out by December.
