Jeez it wasn't 2 weeks ago yous were killing the fatted calf looking for rain.

The good news is that we can look for rain, or look for drought all we all, and it doesn't make a pin of difference to the outcome!?.
It's perfectly natural for farmers to look for optimum conditions. Grass burning up is far from optimum I think you'll agree Z? When the pendulum swings too hard in one direction, we start to lose.

Can't get my head round how quick this year's going in.

Good old Edwin poots is fir chucking a few pounds our way by the sounds of it. Will hardly help our image in Joe publics eyes Could they put the money to better use to drive a sustainable long term price across the industry?

Neighbour had mentioned about 2p for three months production, but that was a month ago when it was still being discussed. Not sure what they have finalised, just saw it on the bbc news but they didn't give the details.

But shir it's all OK, the prospects for milk in the medium to long term are good, or so I'm told!

As long as Joe keeps getting 2l for 80p he won't be too bothered. After all Edwin has been paying their wages too for the last 3 months.
What is a sustainable price 25p 30p 35p? One thing is certain, there will be a lot more milk produced at 35p.

No point worrying what joe public thinks, they don't give a toot.
