Very good
We're debating over payment structure on volume vs solids for points of pennies when it actually 10p a litre we need milk to rise
When we had qoutas which we OWNED we had some clout, but since the brave new world of expand or die arrived what was once a okish price is now the best you can hope for . Better stop complaining and double your herd and workload for the same income as you had when you started !!!!

Reseeding...broadcast or drilled. Which is better. I dont think theres any big difference. Early sowing more important
Was always drilled here but had an acre in the spring and just chucked it on with wee sower on quad. Worked a treat and surprisingly even will definitely use it again especially on tender ground.

Got shafted today with straw. Lesson learnt. Always bought out of England by the ton but saw nice load of southern stuff. Coffin bale meant to have been 190kgs. Quite a few banana bales on load when it arrived so weighed a couple to check. Only 120kgs. Makes it very expensive, I’ll not make that mistake again.

Forecast definitely way out. Said no rain TIL next week. We’ve just had a down pour, road flooded in five minutes. Serious grass lying shook out around here. Glad the baler came middle of the night.
