I'll have to hold off on the extra fertiliser and meal. Lakeland couldn't even manage to add 3ppl, instead we have to make do with 2.8ppl!
They usually don’t set their price for a day or 5 after the rest lolWhat about the processor that begins with A? Lakeland must be in the running for lowest base price going by the above quotes.
Tanker driver tells me Aurivo 40p,maybe moreThey usually don’t set their price for a day or 5 after the rest lol

Cows out a month now by day . Long winter til may morning.Yous will never learn, cows out May morning and not before.
On a positive note you've a good wad of grass there, must have been out early with the sower before the price rose.

2002… my neighbour sold up. Fed up with the wet summer. That depends on the weather that comes after. It probably doesn't happen so much down with you, but if it rains on off for three weeks now, which it easily can, that will just be water filled hoof holes in three weeks. Or, if the weather takes up it could be fine. You never know. Either way, it's not going to be easy getting the tractor and spinner onto that in the next ten days.
Talking to people, I reckon there's fair complacency out there. It's a long time since people struggled with wet. Last few seasons have been accommodative, silage put past, cost of Nitrogen deterring applications. Been quite a while since we had a wet summer and ground tramped out.
Tell them you're pricing around. Ask them how much and how long it would take to get it sorted. Ulster seems willing to lend, Barclays are competitive. Both show an interest in farmers, some others are looking rid of farmers.Who's everyone banking with? Currently with HSBC but anytime dad asks to put my name on the account they make excuse that the loan agreement would need to be redone and it would cost a lot of money. They also wouldnt lend us money in the autumn for 15 acres over the hedge.
Want to get my own account opened so I can pay a bit of pension for myself and the odd bill
