I know Ballyrashane stepped in and took a lot of Donegal creamery milk although it had to be done on the quiet as it wasn’t been bought through the auction.

It could of been a case of,as paisley said"we might be British but our cows are irish"

That'll put an end to the grass now. Might be able to dodge about with the cows until the end of the week. Start to house youngstock this week also. Silage be all needed before May morning.

Few dry cows still out and about. Grazed all milkers today not sure if they’ll get out again.

No excuse. We put are compost on after last grazing round which starts in 2 weeks time. Only difference this yr is that we will have very little grass !

sh!t i still have spring rape and beans, cutting barley in October is not un heard off hopefully some good weather will come and you will get it in good order . Straw might be scarce yet .
