Northern Ireland Milk Price Tracker

That's not what I asked. Is 30c inclusive or exclusive? It's quite important.

I was under the impression it's close to 5%.

Ok thanks @Cowcorn . If it's 5%, then that's 28.57c net. Times about 88pence is 25.14ppl. We are producing .55ppl more fat and .43p less protein, therefore net .12p shy. So about 25 and a quarter depending on how currency averaged out. So they haven't skimmed just as much off the NI producers to pay the southerners as you might have thought.

Did anyone else get an hour's torrential rain at lunchtime today? Awful. I think this back end has possibly been harder on ground than 2017. Had most of my heifers grazing until last week of November that year. That's a very long way off. Just can't see me making it that far this year. And it's going to tell a tale in the spring.

Have recorded one dry day since the 22september. Total of seven completely dry days in six weeks.

Just a bit of a heads up lads. Came across a group to individuals today standing in the pishin rain, petting cattle through a gate and taking pictures of them. Let just say they didn't look like farming types. I know that there could be a perfectly reasonable explanation  , but in the current climate, watch your backs.
