Expand? No offence but your all missing the point. The market is already returning more than your getting paid.so there is either poor management or poor product mix.

Digesters round here going to £400 an acre sometimes 500 which in turn then pushes the competition up for other ground making most ground to take as dairy farmers anything from £200 to £300 an acreWho is it that is paying these ridiculous rents? Mostly greedy dairy farmers round here, myself included, but it would never do to give a bit up because you're making no money off it, the neighbour might get it.

As is very obvious I know very little but Ampe is higher than the May price being paid in NI (according to ny milk buyer)Which market?
The spot milk market?
The skim market?
The cream market?
The SMP market?
The WMP market?
The bulk butter market?
The bulk mild cheddar market?
The curd market?
Plus aren’t most NI firms coops supposedly passing profits back to farmers? As is very obvious I know very little but Ampe is higher than the May price being paid in NI (according to ny milk buyer)
Product prices are tightening according to the journal prices up for cheese up 150€ at he latest Dutch auction I believe.
I understand NI is an export country but why is it lower than Southern Ireland consistently.and never seems to get the higher side of volatile prices.
It’s carp.

That makes it even worse. Or perhaps management should look at first milks journey to this point and learn from it.
