Hasn't been a simple summer, but prices have been worse without co vid I the past. Hadn't thought of applying this time, but its just the fact that so much has been thrown about by dishy rishi makes me wonder if another few applications will really be seen. Some guidance from milk companies to confirm the impact on current prices might have been helpful.
July price, at least for Dale Farm producers was below last years(25), the 5 year average (24.9) and the 9 year average (24.9). I think that's a reasonable case to argue, even if the case isn't as strong as for the first round & we can be thankful some of the worst predictions didn't happen.

it’s probable that 20% will go straight back in tax anyway. If you spend it then it’s going back into the economy helping somewhere down the line.

It would be interesting to know how much will end up back with the treasury either in direct income tax or by people spending and businesses paying more tax. Probably a lot more than we think.

Always wondered why is it in ni were always behind british milk price?

Always wondered that before coming on here. Figured it's mostly because we take it. No tenant farms and in alot of cases we own a large percentage of our own land that we dont put a value on, has to be worth a few pence. Add in the fact were stupid enough to do the work of or two or three men has to be another few more.
