No cattle in yet other than cows at night , no diet feeding yet, no dairy blend purchased yet either, no fert bought for next season, first time in 18 years I haven't the following seasons fert bought. All slurry tanks empty,silos full, closed for tb, mrs z wants a new kitchen out of the sfp but I tokd her next year as fertiliser is very expensive, all in all a good year for me, mrs z not happy but I can live with that

What's the secret to living with an unhappy Mrs? I don't think it's possible.

No fert bought here yet either unsure of what to do usually always buy it this time of year

Kept cows in today, don't think they'll be out again, raining sideways here at the minute. Plenty of grass about as long as ground stays dry. Been a great grass year at Slemish, milk price at 35p before Christmas to put the icing on the cake.
