no fert out yet (it only arrived on wednesday after being dispatched two weeks ago) still a lot of slurry to spread. Dad and i walked a few fields yesterday and it'll take a few dry days before a tractor of any size is on it. (n)

No fert on yet, might rig up sower tomorrow and sow a bit on some grazing just to make sure everything is working. We never split dress the silage ground, usually put on 1st week in April. Have 15 acres to slurry yet. Could you sow fert then slurry straight after or would you have for a week?

Soil temp of 4.5oC here. Doesnt look like it's going to heat much in the next week either.

Is there a min temp before applying fert?
Slight frost here this morning and has felt cold all day. Slurried ground was starting to green up but is nearly going back again.
Hard to keep motivated in this weather:banghead:
