I got NIAPA to help with mine. They advised me that I had bugger all points so to "under quote" all my items therefore gaining points for having value for money. This means if I get an offer I'll really only be getting a 30% grant or maybe even slightly less.
They're items I really need so 30% is better than nothing which I would have got if I'd left my quotes at the Dept prices.
I would like to point out that the UFU were as useful to me as tits on a boar when I needed help with my form filling."We're not insured to fill out forms " the group secretary told me. Maybe they should go to NIAPA and get insurance..that's who my farm and tractors insurance are with!

Now I think about it that's where I got the 39 figure from. I applied for 39% instead of 40% to get my points up.

Didn't know that niapa did insurance.

the total points is 100, I only got 49 so no letter coming my way for a while. With dealers sticking the price up and then you take value for money and claim less grant you soon end up with a grant that effectively is only 20-30%. I didn't alter the value to try and get full 40% grant, doubt il make the cut, but sure theres always next year.....
