It's back to the same story as red tractor. The loyalty bonus is the base.

It's their way of 'punishing' the very small number of producers who have returned to supplying dale farm. Very harsh indeed.

I see the MPI is going to make a reappearance. Processors must be quaking in their boots. Watch milk prices leap up now!!

No problem with new members getting the loyalty bonus after a
short period of time say 6 months. I think that 0.3 is not enough of a loyalty/disloyalty bonus I'd have set it at 1ppl.

They chose to leave and if they left early they got their share money aswell as a better milk price.

There share of the money would have been their shares cashed in. Not the % of the business.

United only took people back because it was in their favour.
If they penalise too heavily it would discourage those who returned and could hinder growth opportunities that all members could benefit from.
There is such a thing as cutting off your nose to spite your face!

If your going down that route surely if a farmer leaves it has to be taken into consideration too?
I wasnt going down any route.

Red tractor .2p
Volume bonus .3p

Depends on your volume, I'm on 0.5p volume bonus.

Everyone is quick to compare base prices but forget the quality threshold differences between buyers to obtain base price. I think dale farm need to have a base price 0.6p higher than LP when you adjust for quality. It's all smoke and mirrors!!

Even then do the loyalty element?
As you say all smoke and mirrors a proper comparison website needed!

And for the few that aren't red tractor it changes again

Milk league published every month in IFJ for comparison purposes.
Also, "the dealer" has some interesting comments regarding LP in last weeks IFJ.
