northern polytunnels

Has anyone in the north Yorkshire area got a Northern polytunnel? I've just asked the company if it's possible to see any in the area, if it was ok with the farmer, as we've never had anything to do with polytunnels before and they said that can't give out that information. I sort of understand why but then again it's made me immediately suspicious of them that they aren't prepared to contact anyone to see if they'd be happy for us to have a look. You'd think they'd want to promote their products with happy customers.

Hey Girlfarmer,

We understand where you're coming from, but the truth is that usually other farmers don't really like us inviting other people to their farms for many reasons that could include biosecurity, privacy, competition etc. We've given out details in the past, and it hasn't gone down too well which is understandable. We've been around for a long while so we have accrued lots of photos of our structures, so if you drop us a message with your email address and what kind of polytunnel you're after I will send you some through.

Alternatively we'll be a North Sheep this year with a fully constructed polytunnel.

Kind regards,

Northern Polytunnels

Thanks for your reply. We have, however, found another firm who were more than happy to tell us about one they'd put up locally and we now have a 90ft x 30ft tunnel up and full of ewes and lambs!
