Nose ache...

Well, I have had a tooth-ache before, and an ear-ache but today I got a hell of a whack on the bridge of my nose - breaking it, again... - and bruising and swelling aside, I have a nose-ache!

I've had my nose broken playing rugby and when boxing, and today there were the usual involuntary tears, blood and pain. But this is the first time I've had a nose-ache, with proper cartoon-style throbbing. Much as with a tooth-ache or ear-ache, it is very, very hard to ignore it and concentrate on anything else. Anyone else had a nose-ache?

And, of course, as you might expect, Mrs Danllan has demonstrated true wifely sympathy by laughing at all this...

You have my sympathy i got kicked in the face a few years ago, didnt break my nose but it throbbed for ages, and gave me a headache.

Perhaps you could get Mrs Danllan to take your mind off it by causing you pain somewhere else ?

Thanks for the sympathy. As for Mrs Danllan, she already does that more than enough without trying, the last thing I want is for her to start trying to do it with conscious effort!

Hope it has stopped aching now. If not it may be worth going to a&e and getting assessed and maybe xray ed just in case of any injury to your facial bones.
