Got fed up with buckets getting broke and knocked over in the lambing Pens,
20l drum cut in half, and folded ally bracket with a wee bit of weld.
Completely flexible and don't break.

Would have put this in bodges as the scaffhold is 2nd hand, the weld mesh was bought new, but has been used elsewhere for a few year's.

But the fittings and sheeting is new  so will have to be this thread

Priced up building with new timber or 2nd hand scaffhold and the scaffhold was very competitive.
Plus is much easier to put up, change design....... or use for other stuff

after costing up alternatives, you have been frivolous and used new cable ties, and not baler twine!
ill let you off though as youve not snipped the ends of - i assume this is so you can use the cable ties again?

Haha! I actually had to stop my better half from cutting the ends of the ties....... &she's a farmers daughter!
More education is obviously needed :D

Needed an accurate way to measure the diameter of the rim on the loader to get bands for dual wheels rolled so this was my alternative to a large set of calipers
I take it you have the rims already.
I wanted a full set of duals for one of the Tractors here and had strongly considered making up my own set but after a bit of shopping about I ended up with 4 stocks rims, tyres and 12 clamps for just under 1k which was cheaper than making them up.

Unfortunately it's just not so straight forward in this scenario,

The wheels that is on the loader are 550/45r22.5

It's stocks wheels I'm after but unfortunately these are not going to be able to be got second hand, priced a new set of rims and they were £1200+V so that put that out the window too.

Currently I am pricing a band from stocks with the clamp rail welded in and then getting a 11.2r24 tyre and rim and welding the band in.

That way I'll still get the convenience of the stocks fitment method but hopefully at a slightly more reasonable price,

Have my measurements sent away to get priced

I have a set of 405/70r20 stocks dual wheels that fitted the old handler but if modified the band on them for the 22.5" rim it would make the combination much too wide

umm, its never simple is it.
i picked up a pair of 2014 stock duals 2 weeks ago off the bay.
15.9 r24's with 4 stocks clamps for £300, they cost £100 on carriage so all in all they were cheap.
i priced the 24" rims too, €1200 iirc.
i take it you priced george.
i have 8 stocks clamps here that i could sell if thats an option for you either, they wouldnt be cheap but they wouldnt be dear i suppose you could say.

It's definitely not!

Yeah it's George I'm working with, he's on the same wavelength as myself and it works in my head so hopefully should come together without too much issue,

Them duals weren't too dear at that!

I'll drop you a PM about the clamps
