Hi everyone, not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but I need advice on what to do.

I have a 3ish acre field away from home which is rented to graze horses on (used to be used for pedigree cattle but years ago) I'm moving my (currently) one horse to another 3 acre field which my new house came with, a local farmer usually grazes sheep in the fields as the previous owner didnt have any horses for a while and that will also probably continue.

I was thinking of seeing if i could cut the old field for hay although there is a lot of old cow parsley in the field and they will probably grow again. So should I spray and cut the field now to try and get rid of it or should I invest in some animals to graze there? I would like to keep the field as it is a really cheap rent and might come in useful for another year or two (or maybe more)

Thank you- ELMS

Ahh thank you that's what me and my dad were discussing... Do you think it would be better to graze some sheep on it or leave it for this year?
