Why don't City and Guilds etc. Just provide online courses ,are they missing a trick or what???
Small ,infrequent or unable to attend or NOTHING in your area chemical firm funtions your knackered ???
Something like the Virtual College courses be great.
What bugs me is that the NROSO website has an events page which you would think would list all available events and a link to book them for the current calendar year, nice and simple, just log on go to events list and find suitable events near you, sorted.... However for some reason nobody has updated them since 2016 it seems and many date back to 2013, completely pointless!! They really don't help farmers by making life so difficult to find events. As it happens I attended a number of small meetings, monitor farm groups etc a year and they all seem to offer NROSO points which is great, 2-3 meetings and a couple of shows plus agronomist meeting and sprayer test and your easily past the 10 points needed per year.
That's the trouble they can be pee poor and not have to worry because they know that the red tractor protection racket demand farmers to be on the register whether it's good, bad or indifferent.
City and Guilds have sent me 3 emails in the last 2 weeks "helping through the crisis".
I don't remember having any before - the first (of 3) said that they were going to stop sending emails as I never react to them, 5 minutes later one arrived "supporting us".
If C&G did not exist I think I would survive.
