NROSO- Does anybody here work for them?

Aye-up,

as per title.

Now I’m not having a go at you personally, so don’t trot out all the usual “ooh, I think I’m offended by your complaint”, but what a useless shower of shite on a Sunday organisation you work for.

The amount of time NROSO get my points wrong is amazing. I would have thought most people who work there have a decent education but seemingly can’t count to 30. If they can, they can’t read when notified I’ve wasted another day on a course, and if they can do either of those things they can’t be arsed to add them to my account.

Now I’ve received a letter saying I haven’t got enough points, which I have, so will be struck off.

So I think I’ll phone them. 3-4 times, on hold up to twenty minutes at a time with no reply. Email gets no answer either.

What a waste of time they are. Twunts who can’t do their job trying to tell me I can’t do mine.

So, anybody care to help me out?

Cheers, Pete.

Been a few threads on here recently like this.

One suggested that the simplest way if you have a pal (or your son perhaps) is for Person B to join the scheme (Person A gets stuck off for no points), then after 3 years of collecting no points Person B gets struck off, and Person A rejoins. Rinse and repeat.
Know of a few places that do this 👌🏼
Last meeting I went to I drove 4 hours 1 way, 6 hours return because of an RTC plus 2 hours at a crop trial to get 2-3 points 🤦🏻‍♂️

I’ve got a statement telling me I’m one point short,

point number 1- I’m not one point short I have the full 30 and they have not counted the last point I sent them a couple weeks before I got the statement.

point number 2- my 3 year time isn’t up till end of next week and I got the sprayer tested this week so a few more there to add.

point number 3- going on what others have said I’m not gonna bother wasting my time trying to get hold of them I’ve got the points and will wait till they get snotty with me then give them a bollocking for been incompetent.

What really annoys me is the threat that you receive, stating that if you do not get the points you will be unable to rejoin for a year. This in my view is a punishment far in the excess of the crime. It’s as though they expect every farm to have multiple sprayer driver’s and those that don’t are not worthy of membership anyway. In my case I am the only driver and if I couldn’t make up my points in time that means potentially I couldn’t sell my crops.

This is totally wrong, as I have said before on other similar threads with many farmers struggling with finances and in with the current emphasis on mental health I think these letters should stop.

No, I don’t farm. The sheep we had were just a hobby and not assured either.
You don't need Nroso then.
If you want to spray you are supposed to have passed PA1 & 2 (can't remember which one is which) but there's not much they can do to you if you are not assured, nothing to do with Nroso.
Nroso are just to prove to Red Tractor or whoever that you are up to date but as we all know it is a load of rubbish and actually means nothing at all. Why so many are playing along with their silly game makes no sense to me whatsoever.
