Like i said, I DON T AGREE. I'm merely creating debate, After all this is a discussion forum. I also said. They need to be very harsh to justfy the merit of their own scheme. If they appear soft then their own scheme lacks the credit they think it has.
Robt a question is there a norosa or rt organization to oversee the paintwork and build quality of your machines that can shut you down ? perhaps there should bee!

I just got a nroso email wittering on about how Christmas had got in the way of things and if you had suspension letters ignore them if you paid. And also saying as there busy the fone may take a while to get answered.

do they not realise that farming is a 24/7/365 operation?

Technically yes there is. Every business is stifled with pointless red tape that adds neither value , safety or indeed sustainability to industry .

My( friends) solution .......His son and father alternate nroso membership, but dont collect any points ,saves £100 a year. when one gets thrown off scheme other rejoins, and so on. Cheap and easy

Just been reminded of this post so searched back to find it.....

I wonder whether we could set up a TFF "swapshop".

Each member paired up with another.

"I'll do your spraying for three years, then you do mine.....!" ;)

Do we get to use each others sprayers? Though not sure anybody would want to pair with me and my old 18 metre 😪

I was thinking more like the Germans once did for their equivalent of NVZ regs. They rented land hundreds of miles away so they could show they had enough land for spreading all their slurry on. 😂

Just had email from no-use-oh.
' we might have sent you a letter, we're not sure, it might be wrong, ignore it or ring up'

Why not send emails, you obviously have my email.
I'll use the special secret agent magnifying glass concealed inside my badge to read it.

Cockwombles!
I never opened the email in case it was some sort of corona infection for puters so never got my special badge.

they really are a disorganised bunch of dipsticks.

I had an email threatening suspension as I have not paid.
Payment is on a DD and was taken out the bank 3 weeks ago.
Incompetence.
Will await suspension if they cannot find my money in their account.

Been thinking about this again today.

Am I right in thinking NRoSO provide the course materials for Agrii, Frontier, Hutchinsons etc for the annual £40 course?

I guess they sell them to them, for them to re-sell the course at a profit themselves.

Doesn’t seem very independent that they have a financially vested interest in pushing these courses…..especially as they would surely be biased more towards this than farmers earning their “free” points from magazines, AHDB events, sprayer test, agronomist meetings etc.
