If you attend their virtual trials tour, you will be eligible to claim both BASIS and/or NRoSO points.

Limagrain UK is pleased to invite you to the LG Oilseed Rape Crop Establishment Expert Panel, what this brings to growers and the latest advice to get your crop off to the best possible start.

I had an interesting chat to NROSO on Friday as I'd paid in March but it wasn't showing up on my NROSO login page.

It turned out they'd got my payment but because at that time I didn't have enough points it gets added to a list but not fully processed until you've enough points.
Also complete a intergrated pest management (IPM) plan on Nfu website to get points https://www.nfuonline.com/updates-and-information/fill-in-your-integrated-pest-management-ipm-plan/

Hope this helps
Thanks very much for this I got two very much needed points from IPM 👍

Only thing was after I'd done the NFU/ English one I realised I should really be doing the Scottish one, very similar so I opened it on my Laptop and filled it in from looking at answer I'd given to the English one I'd done, on my phone.

Thanks, yes good suggestion 😊

I also got this link from my Agronomist and got some points, quite interesting and good to do.

I watched a video first then printed of questions, re watch video tick answers then proceed after video to actually answer questions on line, they don't alter 👍

Most importantly it seems if your three year term is during the Covid period their allowing you to back date meetings, sprayer tests etc.

I got told this when I got through to NROSO late March, very helpful chap told me this but wasn't sure until I saw points actually on.

Agronomist wrote up my meetings for 2019 and 2020 so hey presto 4 X 2 = 8 points added 😁

Probably stop soon but still the policy on Friday 👍

That kind of positive experience is frowned upon on here.

They didn’t tell me that when I was threatened with suspension. 😡

I hope you got it all sorted 👍

Maybe the policy changed after you spoke to them.

I was a bit dubious myself when I was first told so that's why I waited to see the points actually on and rechecked on Friday.

Obviously anyone should check for themselves but that's just my experience and what I was told.

Just telling it the way it was for me, a bit of a nightmare getting through first time especially, tried for a couple of days as I was running out of time, I'm always friendly and polite as I'm sure most are but I was getting a solution so it's easy for me to be happy I suppose.

I'm just trying hopefully to help people get points assuming the rules haven't changed.

I've got my points in fact I've 3 carried forward now 😁 so really makes no difference to me but if I can be helpful that'll make my day 👍

During the pandemic you didn't need to MOT your car etc., most of the country told to stay safe at home furloughed, but yet farmers still had to go about collecting Nroso points and having an NSTS test on your sprayer, ridiculous.
Even BASIS extended their deadline for the 50 CPD points…
