number plates

Anyone short of these number plates? or the Blue Land Rover or white LDV van they came off. Been chucked over the hedge into my OSR field.

I gained a set a couple of years ago. Plod came round and collected them.

I phoned plod and they too a note of the numbers then said to bin them

I took some into our local station a few years ago that had been dumped in one of our gateways. Had been stolen from a vehicle parked streetside a mile from here and were used on car that raided local Tesco petrol kiosk the night before I found them. Took a load of cigarettes but abandoned them as Police on scene quite quickly.

IMO the correct thing to do! If you don't bin them, they could get stolen from your place and used again.
