I’m in the process of buying some land next door.
I have had some paperwork forwarded to me by my solicitor from the sellers solicitor and one of the things it states is the land isn’t in an NVZ. That’s not correct and on the face of it a minor detail but I’ve got to wandering do I need to hold back records of fertiliser applications for this land in the event of an inspection?
The seller previously rented the land out and I suspect the farmer that rented it didn’t keep any records but what do I need to do in regards to any back records?
On a couple of separate notes, again of little major importance but the paperwork I’ve received states the land is free of docks, nettles, thistles and wire worm amongst a whole host of other things.
Whilst hardly infested with weeds, they are there and so too I suspect are the wireworm as it’s long term grassland , if I plant a crop of maize on it next year which is plagued with wire worm will I have grounds for a claim against the seller?
