NVZ Records Software

Does anyone use any software to record what we need for the NVZ rules in Wales (or the NVZs in England, come to that) that theybwould recommend?

The last time I checked, the workbook that WG provide only has space for 3 applications of fert for each field - we need more. Have used Farmmatters just for the NVZ tab but I should imagine that there's something better out there.

TIA

The WG worksheet is just a "plan" ...... it doesn't often affect reality.

When we had our compliance visit a few weeks ago, I told the guy we cut 5 times and often 6 weather permitting and he just accepted that.

Mind you, didn't stop us getting a threatening letter from WG saying that they "may" take 5% off the SFP for not having a catch drain on a short section of one silage pit.

I use a combination of Greenlight grower and Navigate pro. Navigate will work out availability from application greenlight won’t and will do nvz records. It’s a bit of a fudge but works for me. Baffled the EA so that’s a positive 😁

Yes, just frustrating that there's no way to amend the form.

Are they taking issue with that sort of thing in older pre1991 stores or just ones since then?

Compliance is Compliance. Pre 91 isn't washing anymore
And a lot depends on how you interact with the inspector. Treat them as human and its usually ok.
Get stroppy and then they want to inspect each and every drain outfall never mind storage structures
