Finished cutting our oats today, more resemble porridge after being through moisture metre. At least they are quick to dry.

Before someone else says 'RTFM', the Perry drier manual doesn't mention oats.

Whole oats are how the local mill measures moisture, definitely not ground

I have been using a max temp of 75C which is probably too high but it's has low as we can go without changing the jets. The problem we have is the fan pulling oats out of the drying ducts when the bomb doors open, which is due to the pathetic spec wts this year. This is the first time I have dried oats in decades of growing them..

Up to 75C air temp. Max grain temp. 45C. Never get anywhere near there anyway unless something gone wrong.
