I have a very occasional need for some limited workshop heat on smallish bolts or bearing I don't really want to go down the big or even small rental bottles i have used a butane type plumbers torch with limited effectiveness but think there may be a better solution.
has any one have experience of any disposable type mapp gas or maybe oxy propane type setups that maybe have a higher temp or a smaller more intense flame that i should look at ?

That looks like a handy setup , you can get something similar here in the uk https://www.thewelderswarehouse.com/Welding-Supplies/oxy-propane-kits.html for beetween £120 and £150.00 I think , and looks like it will do my type of job I really don't see any point in cutting with it though when grinder would do a better job faster .

Replacement bottles 18.50 for Gas and 18.50 for 2 oxy , I assume these would last 1/2 an hr plus used on heating something.

thanks for the replies
