Like a great many others, I have been stunned to watch the great plague of mice destroying feed stocks in Australia and I also
recalled reading on TFF of a shed full of grain being rejected because of a couple of mouse dropping being found in the grain.
Watching all those little critters flooding farm properties in Oz I couldn't help but recall the old German story of the Pied Piper of Hamlyn.
I also remembered a time when distraught shop keepers, harrased by youths congregating outside their shops, took to intalling
something called a mosquito and it emmited an irritating sound, audible only to the young and hey-presto youth stopped congregating,
making a mess, and causing no end of problems.
Do you suppose that a sound system installed in a grain store could emit a sound that could discourage Ratty and Master Mouse from
entering in to scoff and defile your grain?
Just some crazy, out of the box, townie thinking but do you think that there could be any milage in it?
