Yes. That is one example of a "submission exception query". It shows up on the online submission form when you enter the readings and press the "calculate" button. You have to enter a reason before it allows you to submit. This is what triggers the additional checking and can cause delays.

good tip. Shouldnt be a problem next year, cant be in the workshop much more unless i put a bed in there.

Put my readings in yesterday
Flagged up asking why they were 25% higher than last year at this time
Reply was because it was 25% colder than last year

I think it's an automated system. We had a problem with the boiler and it was offline for awhile the reading was lower than usual and we also had the question asked.
