He's commented before on such issues in his capacity as Chairman of the CCC, which makes it all the more baffling as to the rubbish that comes out in the CCC's official reports and papers. That may have more to do with Chris Stark's influence over it though as Chief Executive and the others that make up the CCC.

I’m sure he is supportive, he has his own cattle and so operates from a sensibly grounded base of knowledge. However, the material that comes out of the CCC is flawed to begin with, some of it outrageously flawed.
